In order to enhance training quality and ensure that academic programs are closely aligned with the practical needs of businesses, on March 21, 2026, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, organized a workshop on developing learning outcomes for the Accounting program for the academic year 2025–2026 at Campus 1 of the University.
The workshop was conducted with the objective of reviewing, revising, and refining the learning outcomes of the Accounting program to serve the training cycle for the period 2026–2030, thereby better meeting employers’ requirements and the evolving trends of the labor market.
Participants in the workshop included representatives of the University’s Board of Management, the Academic Affairs Office, the leadership and academic staff of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, as well as industry experts, visiting lecturers, business representatives, alumni, and current students. The diverse participation of stakeholders created a multidimensional forum for discussion, contributing to enhancing the practicality and applicability of the training program.
The workshop agenda was systematically designed, including presentations on the orientation of learning outcomes, followed by discussions and feedback from experts, enterprises, and learners. The contributions focused on updating professional knowledge, strengthening professional skills, enhancing technological competencies, and improving students’ adaptability in the context of digital transformation and global integration.
Notably, the discussion session gathered numerous valuable and practical recommendations from enterprises and alumni regarding required professional skills, work attitudes, and competencies needed in modern working environments. These inputs serve as an important foundation for the Faculty to further improve the curriculum in the direction of strengthening the linkage between the University and industry.
In the concluding remarks, the Faculty leadership emphasized the importance of developing learning outcomes that are closely aligned with real-world requirements, considering this a fundamental basis for improving training quality and enhancing graduates’ competitiveness in the labor market.
Through this workshop, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting reaffirmed its educational orientation toward application-oriented, practice-based, and internationally integrated training, while also promoting a dynamic and industry-connected learning environment at Lac Hong University. This activity also plays a significant role in attracting prospective students and improving the effectiveness of future enrollment efforts.
