Your Voice Team wins Silver Award at the Global GovTech Awards in Dubai

Surpassing more than 5,000 projects from 126 countries and territories, a team from LHU won the Silver Award at the Global Best M-Gov Awards 2026 on February 4, 2026, within the framework of the World Governments Summit (WGS) held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). This achievement marks the team as the first representative of Viet Nam to make a strong impression on this prestigious global platform.

Project team “Your Voice” officially announced as the Silver Award recipient at the Global Best M-Gov Awards 2026

The project “Your Voice” is an artificial intelligence application that converts sign language into speech and text, led by lecturer Bui Xuan Canh together with two students - Hoang Gia Huy (Software Engineering) and Vi Hoai Thuong (E-commerce) from the Faculty of Information Technology. This solution aims to support people with hearing impairments in accessing public services and communicating more effectively in their daily lives, and has been highly appreciated by the judging panel for its outstanding technical quality, profound humanitarian value, and strong practical applicability in line with the citizen-centered digital government trend.

Notably, LHU became the first representative of Viet Nam to be recognized and honored at the Global Best M-Gov Awards since 2014. This Silver Award is not only a proud milestone for the University, but also highlights the capability, intellect, and potential of Vietnamese students to reach out to the world in the fields of technology and innovation.
