LHU leaders deliver remarks and present proposals at 2026 Spring Gathering of Intellectuals and Artists

On the morning of February 28, 2026, leaders of LHU were honored to attend the 2026 Spring Gathering of Intellectuals and Artists organized by the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province. LHU's participation in this significant political–cultural event at the outset of the Lunar New Year once again affirmed its role, prestige, and social responsibility within the province’s intellectual community.

Representing LHU at the event were Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan – Secretary of the Party Committee; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector; along with three other faculty members and administrators. As part of the program, the University’s leaders and other intellectuals and artists offered incense at the Ho Chi Minh Temple to express profound gratitude to national predecessors, while reaffirming their determination to continue contributing their intellect and dedication to local development.

At the meeting, entrusted by the Provincial Party Committee to deliver remarks, Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, in her capacity as a representative of the Dong Nai Provincial Association of Women Intellectuals, emphasized the responsibilities of intellectuals, scientists, and universities in accompanying the Provincial Party Committee and local authorities in the formulation and implementation of development policies.

As Secretary of the LHU Party Committee, she further underscored the pivotal role of Party-building work within the intellectual community in ensuring the alignment of education and scientific research with political orientation and the province’s sustainable development goals.

Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector – presented strategic proposals to enhance the effectiveness of intellectual resources and strengthen the role of universities as knowledge bridges connecting academia, industry, and government, toward community service and sustainable local development.

LHU leaders' participation and contributions at this provincial-level forum further reaffirm the leading role of the Party organization within the University, while enhancing its standing as a reputable higher education institution that proactively aligns education and research with the socio-economic development requirements of Dong Nai province. Concurrently, LHU clearly demonstrates its strong commitment to partnering with Party committees, authorities, and the intellectual community in advancing Dong Nai toward rapid, sustainable, and long-term development.
