13 students successfully defend their Master’s theses in English Language

On June 22, 2024, 13 students successfully defended their Master’s theses in English Language, marking an important event in their study and research processes at LHU. This is an opportunity not only for students to present and demonstrate their professional knowledge and research ability, but also for the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies to show its training capacity and quality.

At the defense, the students presented their theses in front of the Examination Committee including Dr. Nguyen Thu Huong - Lecturer of LHU, Dr. Nguyen Thi Chau Anh - Lecturer of LHU; Associate Professor PhD. Pham Huu Duc from International University - VNU-HCM; Dr. Ly Ngoc Toan from HCM City University of Law; and Dr. Huynh Thi Bich Phuong from HCM City University of Banking.

Through the defense session, the students were evaluated on their theses, research methods and also their abilities to appropriately apply linguistic theories to evaluate, analyze, present research findings and solutions for practical problems. These are the basis for the Committee to consider and award MA degrees to eligible students in 2024.

The students also received detailed evaluation, comments and valuable suggestions from industry experts, which helps them recognize their strengths and weaknesses, and improve their future research and presentation skills.

The 2024 Master's graduation project defense event took place successfully, leaving deep impressions and valuable lessons on all participants. This is an opportunity for future masters to enhance their capacity and promote personal development. It also creates the opportunity for the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies to affirm its position and training quality, thereby contributing to its reputation and promoting Vietnamese higher education development in the new era.
