Nearly 800 new LHU graduates celebrate with pride and emotion

On June 21, 2025, LHU solemnly held its Graduation Ceremony to confer degrees upon nearly 800 new graduates, including PhDs, Master’s, Bachelor’s, Engineers, and Pharmacists who had successfully completed their academic programs.

In attendance were Dr. Lam Thanh Hien – Rector; along with members of the Party Committee, University Council, Board of Rectors, and heads of departments and centers, as well as esteemed representatives from partner enterprises. Also present were the families, loved ones, and friends of the graduates.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector of LHU extended his heartfelt congratulations to the new Doctoral and Master’s graduates on successfully completing their programs and advancing to higher levels of knowledge. He also commended nearly 800 new Bachelors, Engineers, and Pharmacists for overcoming immense challenges and pressures to complete their academic journeys. In particular, he expressed sincere appreciation to the families and lecturers who had supported both the graduates and the University throughout the journey. He emphasized the vital role and responsibility the graduates hold in today’s era of national integration and development. He encouraged them to continue learning, enhance their knowledge and skills, and promote innovation and creativity, contributing to a prosperous and civilized society.

Postgraduate education is one of the important tasks of LHU. The University currently offers 9 Master's programs (Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance - Banking, Accounting, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, English Language, Automotive Engineering, and Pharmaceutical Management) and 2 Doctoral programs (Business Administration and Computer Science). At the ceremony, LHU honored and presented awarded certificates of merit to six outstanding postgraduate graduates and officially conferred degrees to one PhD and 46 Master’s graduates.

In the solemn atmosphere of the graduation ceremony, nearly 800 new graduates placed their hands over their hearts, bowed their heads, and silently expressed their gratitude for the boundless sacrifices of their parents. This was not merely a symbolic gesture, but a deeply meaningful act of appreciation and reverence for their parents. It became one of the most emotional moments of the ceremony, moving many to tears as they recalled their mothers’ tireless dedication throughout their education and upbringing.

Additionally, the new pharmacists solemnly took the Pharmacist’s oath together - one of the most meaningful moments of the event.

The Graduation Ceremony is not only a milestone in each student's academic journey, but also an opportunity to reaffirm LHU’s noble mission - to nurture talents, and cultivate a generation of well-rounded intellectuals with integrity and strong moral values. This noble mission has long served as the guiding principle for LHU’s academic staff, who have remained committed to supporting generations of students in their pursuit of holistic development.
