    A Representative from LHU Is Honoured to Be Named in the Vietnam Design Thinking Alliance

    Recently, organisations within the innovation and startup ecosystem held the Innovation Tour 2024 – the Launch Ceremony of the Vietnam Design Thinking Alliance and the National Science and Technology Conference Programme “Connecting startups with organisations/individuals providing services, investors, and support resources for innovation and startup activities in the field of transportation technology”.

    The Innovation Tour is a journey of networking, meeting, and learning among startups, businesses, organisations, experts, and scientists. The programme’s activities include networking events, presentations, idea contributions, visits, interactions, experiential learning to explore creative and innovative strategies of organisations, corporate culture, business models, operational processes, technology applications in product and service development, and creative workspaces.

    Activities in the Innovation Tour help participants develop multi-dimensional, in-depth, and practical perspectives, thoroughly understand the market, and create opportunities to share experiences and support each other’s development.

    The Vietnam Design Thinking Alliance (VDTA) carries out advisory, research, training, and development of Design Thinking methodologies and mindsets applied to innovation activities. The goal of VDTA is to help create pioneering innovators, thereby forming innovative startups and enterprises.

    The programme was co-organised by the University of Transport (Ministry of Transport), the Institute of Innovation and Digital Economy in collaboration with the National TECHFEST Technology Villages; the Network of Innovation and Startup Centres of universities and colleges (VNEI); the National Innovation Ecosystem; and the University of Industry and Trade, Ho Chi Minh City. The conference aimed to implement Project 844 “Supporting the National Innovation Startup Ecosystem through 2025”.

    At the event, Lac Hong University was honoured to have MB Luu Ngoc Liem – Head of the Marketing Department – the Faculty of Administratiin International Economics  named as a member of the Vietnam Design Thinking Alliance. This recognition both honours and confirms the contributions of Lac Hong University to the innovation and startup ecosystem over recent years, as evidenced by many major awards at provincial, regional, and national levels.

    Many projects at the conference confidently demonstrated their feasibility and creativity in bringing products to market. Notably, experts and project leaders received numerous expressions of support and investment interest from participating investors and entrepreneurs. This is a very positive signal, providing a favourable start for projects/products as they enter practice and opening many opportunities for connection in the implementation of Project 844.
