    In the context of a rapidly developing society, the law plays a foundational role in regulating all social relations and protecting justice. The Law program is not only for those who aspire to become lawyers or judges, but also for individuals who wish to clearly understand their rights, obligations, and how to protect themselves and their families in all circumstances.

    Law students are equipped with a comprehensive system of knowledge ranging from Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law to specialized regulations such as land law, marriage and family law, labor law, and more, enabling them to gain a holistic understanding of Vietnamese law.

    Developing critical thinking and logical reasoning skills:

    The Law program trains students to think coherently and solve problems based on evidence and legal grounds, essential skills for all positions in modern society.

    2. What Makes the Law Program at Lac Hong University Different?

    Highly practice-oriented curriculum:

    Theory goes hand in hand with practice through real-life activities at courts and internships at procedural agencies, notary offices, law firms, and enterprises such as the People’s Court of Dong Nai Province, the People’s Court of Bien Hoa City, and Bao Quang One Member Limited Liability Law Company. In addition, specialized seminars and thematic sessions organized by the academic club provide valuable knowledge and practical experiences with experts who are knowledgeable and experienced in fields such as the seminar “Law Career Orientation – The Legal Profession,” “Commercial Arbitration – A Practical Perspective,” among others.

    Experienced lecturers who are practicing lawyers, judges, and procurators share practical knowledge closely aligned with societal needs, such as Lawyer Nguyen Duc – Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Commercial Arbitration Center and Former President of the Dong Nai Lawyers Association, Mr. Nguyen Truc Thien – Judge of the People’s Court of Bien Hoa City, among others.

    Dynamic learning environment:

    The Law Club organizes various vibrant activities such as debates, seminars, and thematic sessions, and frequently hosts competitions and workshops including “Opinion Arena,” the seminar “Studying Law Effectively with AI,” “Law Students and Data Processing,” and “New Law Graduates: Difficulties and Challenges.” This environment is ideal for enhancing legal knowledge and skills, comprehensively developing soft skills, and clearly orienting students’ future career paths.

    The curriculum also integrates soft skills, presentation skills, negotiation, and conflict resolution into specific courses such as Civil Procedure Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Criminology, Criminal Law, and others.
