[FAIE: Marketing] From a “Real-World Lab” to the Championship Title of LHU Market Mastery for the Marketing Team

The “LHU Market Mastery” competition, organized by the Marketing program, is an intellectual and creative playground exclusively for Marketing students. It provides an opportunity for students to showcase their talents, professional knowledge, and practical skills. The competition contributes to enhancing students’ critical thinking and developing innovative marketing ideas.

Overcoming many strong competitors, La Ban Marketer – a team from class 22MK111 – excellently claimed the Championship title of the LHU Market Mastery competition. The successful journey of the three young members: Dang Van Hung, Vu Hoang Son, and Nguyen Tuan Tai, was not only their personal victory but also a source of pride for the Marketing program at Lac Hong University.

It is known that all three members of La Ban Marketer currently serve on the Executive Board of the Marketing Club at Lac Hong University. Their solid professional knowledge and prior experience in communication and event activities helped them confidently enter this year’s competition.

Sharing their motivation for participating, Dang Van Hung stated: “We did not compete merely to win a prize; we wanted to prove that LHU Marketing students are fully capable of developing creative and professional strategies like a real agency.”

To achieve this impressive result, La Ban Marketer overcame numerous challenges, from market research and consumer behavior analysis to designing and implementing practical communication strategies.

Vu Hoang Son shared: “At the beginning, our team faced considerable pressure because our ideas had to be truly distinctive. Fortunately, we always received dedicated support from our lecturers. They not only provided professional guidance but also inspired us to confidently experiment with new ideas.”

The combination of creative thinking, practicality, and a Gen Z style—agile, bold, and unafraid of challenges—helped La Ban Marketer convince the Jury Panel and break through to win the Championship title.

Recalling the moment their team name was announced as the winner, Nguyen Tuan Tai expressed his emotion:
“It was not only our team’s victory but also a pride for the Marketing program at LHU. I hope many young people will boldly participate in such competitions, as they truly provide opportunities for self-improvement and personal growth.”

More than just an academic competition, LHU Market Mastery is regarded as a “real-world laboratory” for Marketing students. It is a place where students develop skills in market research, creative idea development, and real-world communication project management.

PhD candidate Luu Ngoc Liem – Head of the Data Science and Marketing Strategy Division, Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics – shared: “Our goal is to build a practice-oriented learning environment that enables students not only to master theoretical knowledge but also to confidently implement real projects. Competitions like LHU Market Mastery are important stepping stones that help students best prepare for their future careers.”

The success of La Ban Marketer has strongly inspired young people who are passionate about Marketing. With a dynamic learning environment, a practice-integrated training program, and the dedicated support of lecturers, Marketing at LHU is the ideal choice for those who wish to turn their passion into a profession.
