[FAIE] The Economic Law Program at LHU Distinguished by Scientific Research Awards and Academic Advising Recognition

Dong Nai, 9 July 2025 – The Economic Law program at Lac Hong University once again affirmed its position and capacity at the Conference on Review and Recognition of Scientific – Technological Activities, Community Service, and Academic Advising for the 2024–2025 academic year. The event served as an occasion to honor the contributions of lecturers and students in key areas.

Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements

In the category recognizing lecturers who supervised students winning awards at the Lac Hong Science and Technology Day 2024, the Economic Law program proudly had two outstanding lecturers honored with two Second Prizes. This is a remarkable achievement, as among the total of one First Prize and two Second Prizes recognized at the Conference, the Economic Law program secured both Second Prizes, demonstrating its prominent contribution to scientific research activities.

The two research projects that achieved Second Prize include:

• The project “Vietnamese Law on Commercial Arbitration and Several Solutions for Improvement” by student Tran Thi Thao Nguyen, under the dedicated supervision of MB Huynh Thi Nhu Hieu – Head of the Business and Commercial Law Division.

• The project “Law on Consumer Protection in E-commerce in Vietnam” by student Hoang Mai Thanh Truc, supervised by MB Vo Anh Phuc – Lecturer of the Economic Law program.

• 

These achievements clearly demonstrate the academic competence and relentless efforts of the students, while affirming the important role of lecturers in inspiring, guiding, and supporting students throughout their scientific research journey. The dedication of MB Huynh Thi Nhu Hieu and MB Vo Anh Phuc contributed to producing high-quality and highly applicable research works, contributing to the development of the field of economic law.

In addition to the two prestigious Second Prizes, the Economic Law program also achieved further success at the Lac Hong Science and Technology Day 2024. The project “Protection of Geographical Indications under Vietnamese Law” by students Nguyen Trong Phuoc and Ngo Hoang Gia Kiet, under the supervision of MB Vu Thi Thanh Huyen – Head of the Financial and Banking Law Division, excellently won Third Prize in the exhibition category of the event.

Recognition of an Outstanding Academic Advisor

Within the framework of the Conference, the Economic Law program was also honored to have MB Ngo Thi Kim Anh – Lecturer of the Economic Law program – recognized as an Outstanding Academic Advisor for the 2024–2025 academic year. This recognition is well deserved for her sustained contributions in accompanying, supporting, and guiding students throughout their academic journey and development.

These impressive achievements are a source of pride for the Faculty of Business Administration - International Economics in general and the Economic Law program in particular. They clearly demonstrate the quality of training, the dynamic research environment, and the spirit of learning and creativity of both lecturers and students.
