Foreign Trade Economics – Where the Dream of Studying Foreign Trade Becomes Reality.

Foreign trade is the key that opens up opportunities for international commerce. In the era of globalization, economies are becoming closer than ever before. Careers such as Import–Export, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management all originate from Foreign Trade. With the desire to provide an overall perspective for parents and students who are concerned at the threshold of choosing a career path, The Faculty of Administration International Economics and the Foreign Trade Club of Lac Hong University organized an online talk show titled “Orientation for Studying Foreign Trade Economics” at 19:00 on 27 July 2022.

The program was attended by the following guests:

Foreign Trade is one of the key economic fields that has contributed to the development of Vietnam’s economy in line with the trend of globalization and integration. Students majoring in Foreign Trade will be provided with comprehensive knowledge related to international trade activities, business law, production activities, import–export operations, and more, serving business transactions and goods exchange with foreign companies. Students will be trained in skills such as price negotiation, supplier evaluation, market forecasting, business contract appraisal, coordination and distribution of import–export goods, as well as management and resolution of risks and customer complaints. All of these are offered in the Foreign Trade Economics major at Lac Hong University.

Throughout the program, high school students received consultation about the major and had their questions regarding admission procedures and enrollment answered.

In particular, in the upcoming academic year 2022–2023, Lac Hong University offers many incentives for new students:

• 1,800 scholarships with a total value of 22 billion VND

• Free accommodation in the dormitory for 3 months for early enrollees

• Free bus tickets for early enrollees

• Free standard English speaking training for 1 year, valued at 5 billion VND

• The total score of three subjects (according to the admission subject combination) for the entire Grade 12 year from 18 points

• The average score of three semesters (Semester 1 of Grade 11 + Semester 2 of Grade 11 + Semester 1 of Grade 12) from 18 points

• The overall Grade 12 average score from 6.0
