Opening Ceremony of the FAIE Student Sports Festival for the 2022–2023 Academic Year.

At 16:00 on 17 March 2023, at the Physical Education Center, Lac Hong University, the Opening Ceremony of the Student Sports Festival of The Faculty of Administration International Economics for the 2022–2023 academic year was held.

Along with all homeroom lecturers/academic advisors, lecturers, staff members, and more than 300 students of FAIE.

With the support and sponsorship from two companies: C.P. Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company and Showa Gloves Vietnam Co., Ltd., this year’s FAIE Sports Festival featured a new format including football, volleyball, sack jumping, and tug-of-war. The competitions included men’s and women’s football teams, men’s and women’s sack jumping, along with many other sports and competition categories.

It is reported that C.P. Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company sponsored VND 10,000,000 (Ten million Vietnamese dong), and Showa Gloves Vietnam Co., Ltd. sponsored VND 5,000,000 (Five million Vietnamese dong).

Students were enthusiastic and excited about the games organized by each class. Sporting activities are expected to enhance solidarity, promote dynamism, and especially relieve stress after academic hours. Immediately following the opening ceremony, the matches took place in a lively and highly team-oriented atmosphere, attracting and engaging spectators.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Dean of FAIE, shared:

“The Sports Festival is not only an opportunity for students to improve their health, spirit, and teamwork skills, but also an occasion for lecturers and students to interact, exchange experiences, and create memorable moments. I believe that you will give your best in every moment of the competition and work together to make this Sports Festival a success.

In this vibrant atmosphere, I would also like to express my sincere thanks to the sponsoring units and to the lecturers who have taken the time to participate and cheer for the teams and classes. It is thanks to the support and contributions of the lecturers, the Organizing Committee, and the students that we have this meaningful and beneficial playground.

Finally, I wish all of you a wonderful and meaningful Sports Festival. Let us uphold the spirit of fair play and demonstrate our full capabilities and love for sports.”
