On 28 July 2023, in Bien Hoa City, the 5th Women’s Innovative Entrepreneurship Ideas and Projects Competition was successfully held, attracting more than 122 participating projects/ideas. The event was not only an opportunity to honor the spirit of female leadership and creativity, but also an important stepping stone to support and develop innovative projects led by young women.

The Women’s Innovative Entrepreneurship Ideas and Projects Competition is organized by the Women’s Union. Its primary objective is to identify women members and female entrepreneurs to support them in developing and promoting OCOP products of Dong Nai Province, and to serve as a source of candidates for nomination to the Women’s Entrepreneurship Competition organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union.

During the competition, female contestants presented unique and promising ideas, ranging from the application of artificial intelligence in education, the development of mobile applications to enhance traffic safety, to innovative projects in renewable energy and environmental protection.
The Jury Panel consisted of reputable experts from various fields such as business, technology, science, social affairs, and the environment. They evaluated and selected the most outstanding ideas for further support and implementation. The selected projects will receive funding, training, mentoring, and promotional support to provide young female entrepreneurs with opportunities for development and success.
Notably, the competition not only honored successful ideas but also fostered a strong support community for women in entrepreneurship and innovation. Participants had opportunities to learn and exchange knowledge and experience with others sharing the same passion.
In his opening remarks, PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Head of FAIE, Lac Hong University – expressed his delight and pride in witnessing the strong development of female leadership and the creative spirit reflected in the outstanding ideas. He also affirmed his commitment to continue accompanying, supporting, and creating favorable conditions to further promote the women’s innovative entrepreneurship movement.

The Women’s Innovative Entrepreneurship Ideas and Projects Competition not only marked an important milestone in supporting women entrepreneurs but also affirmed the role of women in socio-economic development. Women’s innovative ideas and projects are not only economically transformative but also carry positive significance in addressing social and environmental issues.
The competition concluded successfully, leaving many positive impressions among young women and the broader community. It is expected that innovative ideas will continue to be implemented, contributing to the development of a more progressive, equitable, and sustainable society in the future.
